Richard C. Johnson "Dick"
Grampa was one of the most amazing men I have known and probably ever will know. I definitely have the privelage of having had one of the coolest grandfathers ever. His stories were funny, powerful, and awe inspiring. I'll never know how he fit so much stuff into his life. It seemed like grandpa did everything under the sun at one time or another, and then he told us about it, so we could experience it too. The book he typed for us grand kids is one of the coolest things I own, and I'll cherish it for the rest of my life. Love you, grampoo!
Gramps was a loving and caring Grandfather to my brother Dave and me. From taking afternoon trips to the Henry Ford Museum to attending software classes with him and playing on his Mac, Gramps helped me to learn and to grow. His energy and humor and love is greatly missed.
I will always have a special place in my heart for you.i love you daddy.
Whenever I was at the Johnson home, I loved speaking with Mr. Johnson. Such a sense of humor and a way with friends of his daughter, Anne. I remember him as always having a camera handy to get a shot of us Girl Scouts!

Mr. Johnson was a very special part of my teenage years. I was always welcome in their Home, and they always made a place for me at their dinner table. They made me feel special, even including me on family trips up north. My condolences to the family.
