Robert "Bobby" Abeyta Sr.
We are so sorry about the passing of your Father. It is never easy to lose someone so close and dear to your heart. But here is a little something that helped me through the sadness and such a hard time.
I am home in Heaven, dear ones; Oh so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty In this everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over, Every restless tossing passed; I am now at peace forever, Safely Home in Heaven at last. Did you wonder I so calmly Trod the valley of the shade? Oh! but Jesus' love illuminated Every dark and fearful glade. And He came Himself to meet me, In that way so hard to tread; And with Jesus' arm to lean on, Could I have one doubt or dread?
Then you must not grieve so sorely, For I love you dearly still; Try to look beyond earth's shadows, Pray to trust our Father's Will. There is still work waiting for you, So you must not idly stand; Do it now, while life remaineth ... You shall rest in Jesus' land. When that work is all completed, He will gently call you Home; Oh the rapture of that meeting, Oh the joy to see you come!
Bobbaloo Jitterbug....you called yourself lately. How apprapo for the wild and crazy guy you are. We did lots of crazy things growing up.....like the time we broke the display window at....I won't go there. You said I was like your little brother and so I love you like a brother. We miss you bro.
We are going to miss you my friend. Ill always remember growing up in El Paso with the Temple Gang and how much fun we all had together. I will never forget the ride you gave us in your new Porsche. It was a crazy drive through Scenic Drive and the Fiesta Drive-in-Theater. My prayers are with you and your family. Love you my dear friend.
