Bob was a fun guy to play golf with. He will be missed.

I just learned of your loss ( father ) Mr. Robert k Barnett. We ( Kathy and I ) have known the feelings that go with the loss of parents. We begin dying the day we are born, but we are never ready to leave people that have given us so much.
Just as I believe your father having been a warrior, and a believer do I believe you will not mourn but be with joy that your father is now (home).
1 Corinthians 2-9 “ No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him “
Sending my caring thoughts to all of you.
Having been in the service myself, I always felt a kindred spirit with Captain Bob after I found out that he had been a career service man. Fran and I had only known him as a fellow member of our Connect Group at Holly Springs Baptist Church but we came to love him very much. He was always so quick to add important information to the discussion of whatever Bible study we were having. We will miss him and his comments very much.
Pop was always there for Mama and us anytime we needed him; always had time to fix what was broken, share words of wisdom or a smile. He was truly a kind and compassionate human being and will be greatly missed. We were all so lucky to have him in our lives and we share in your loss. May God's peace be with you all.
