To Linda Bidder Manning,
I am stunned and deeply saddened to hear of Rob's passing. My deepest symphathies to you and Rob's family. My name is Patty Sanders. My parents Bob and Jan, brothers Mike, Jeff and baby sis Leslie lived across the street from you on Cabot Rd for 3 years. Robbie,Michael Smith and I were best friends. My brother Mike was friends with your brother Paul and Lonnie Cohen.Your parents,Delores and Shep Cohen and my parents used to get together. I remember Robbie as being a very nice young man. Fond memories of driving into the city with your Dad (the police officer) and Robbie. When I became severly sick and had to be home schooled for 3 months Robbie still remained my friend. When I attempted to return to school you took me under your wing.I remember Robbie and I walking down to the horse farm across the train tracks and getting into trouble for being gone so long, fishing for tadpoles in the muddy ponds where Danvers high school stands.I have fond memories of your whole family. It's nice to know Rob became successful and grew such a beautiful family. I lost my Mom four years ago, my brother Mike 17 years ago. I knew Shep and Delores Cohen had left us. I just didn't expect the loss of Rob or your brother Paul so soon. I do believe all of our loved ones are just on the other side of the door watching over us. God Bless, Patty Sanders
Dear Ann and family.
I worked with Bob quite a while ago at Computervision. As many years had passed we made contact last year on LinkedIn and were looking forward to meeting up sometime. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. He was a great guy both on and off the job.
May our thoughts and prayers be with you and your family at this most difficult time
Sincerely, Don Pasquale and family
Other than Robbie's sister Linda, none of you will know who I am. My name is Joanne Bidder Jumper - I am a cousin of Robbie's - his dad Bob and my dad Elmer were brothers - - I am soooo very sorry for your recent loss - I cannot even begin to imagine the pain that all of you are in...My thoughts and prayers are with all of your family at this most difficult time!
Remembering and celebrating a life well lived. Rest in peace kind soul.
Bob accepted me into his workgroup at a time when I was about to lose my job at Sun. However, I never did express any gratitude or acknowledge this act of grace upon his part. My selfish ambition, injured by what I viewed to be a demotion, prevented me from being a good friend to him. In spite of this, Bob did his very best to meet my needs in the hope that I could share in the success of his team. I can testify that each and every day Bob answered the call from Jesus that is recorded in Luke 6:27-36.
