He will be missed by all of us remaining.

I really will miss him, Virginia Eric and Shana. He said once that my father was the kindest of the boys but I beg to differ I felt he was. I remember years ago how he hated horses but looked after your horses when he had to since he knew you loved them. I remember him joking about the horses so I know this to be true. The mark of a loving father is that he will do what he does not want to do because he loves his children. The mark of a loving husband is that he stood with the same woman through a long lifetime that is so rare. He was a good looking man and successful he was there by your side Virginia because that is where he wanted to be. He was the one along with you Virginia, who reached out again and again to my sisters. I do so wish I could of been there today, I lit a candle in his memory today and my world is a little smaller with the thought of my wonderful uncle not being around. You are all in my thoughts today.

Dear Eric, Shana and Virginia: We have such wonderful memories of Roger and your family words cannot describe. If there is a true friendship then you and your family stands for it. We will miss Roger. May he rest in peace.

Dear Shana, Eric and Mrs. Ederer,
I have such wonderful memories of my childhood with your family. We spent every other day in kindergarten at your house alternating with mine. I grew up spending many weekends, holidays and sleepovers at the Ederers and these are memories that I will always cherish: watching Eric play Dungeons and Dragons, joking around with Mr. Ederer and hanging out in the basement for hours with Shana. Your Dad was a kind, warm and generous person. I looked up to him for his intellect and wonderful sense of humor. My parents have turned to your family for help and support over the past 30 years and you have always been there. We love you so much. Thank you for letting me speak with him in the hospital. My deepest sympathies for your loss. Your Dad was a wonderful man.
