So sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Mom always talked with fondness about the times she spent with everyone growing up. I always enjoyed family gatherings at Aunt Lois's as a little girl. May God's love and peace be with you always
I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers for your family.
The entire Bokelman family is a source of fond memories from my childhood. We used to visit Aunt Lois and Uncle Bokelman often. Ron and his brothers and sisters were more like Aunts and Uncles than cousins. Ron always took time to tease me and make me laugh. Our entire family is so sorry to hear of his passing.
When I think of Ron, I remember his smile. I don't think I ever saw him without it. And what a teaser he was! Did that man ever know a stranger? I saw him at Aldi one day and after we talked he walked off with my cart and purse. I got a good laugh out of him when I asked him if he liked my purse! Ron was trying to help me get an asparagus patch growing. I wish I would have taken the time to get more plants, I'm sure he would have actually planted them for me! What a great man and legacy to follow for his family!
I've known Ron for many years and played golf with him on numerous occasions. He was always smiling, fun and happy. A wonderful trait in a man. I am truly a better man myself for having known "Bocky". He will be missed. Peace to you and all of Ron's family and friends.
