It has been over 30 since I have last seen Mr. D. However, if I had ran into him at a local restaurant I would have walked over and shook his hand. He had my full respect. Mr. D was the kind of teacher that one could easily converse with. Back in the day, I remember he would walk in wearing a long tan business jacket and carrying his dark brown suit case. He was always chipper in the mornings and tried to (pretend) jab me in the belly. Though my reflexes where marvelous and I could run circles around him. Nonetheless, he would try but give up relatively quickly. Mr. D lives on in my memory and I very pleased Maryvale hired him.
