Ronald R. Sweger Sr.

To the Sweger family,
We will not forget our Rutherford families that have past before us. Mr. Sweger gave his time in the Lions club and his daughters were all good softball players! I will never forget the wonderful memories Rutherford has given me, and the Sweger family were a part of my life back then.
With heartfelt sympathy,

The Calamia's

Ronald R. Sweger Sr. is one of the True American Dad's in this country...proud to have served for this country and proud to be a family man...proud to be a Penn State Nittany Lions Fan. A coworker of his from Amp told me he was straight up and forward to him. He would let you know if you were messing up at work and he would go to bat for you. He had done that for many. He would go to bat for you because he was a Philly's fan! During baseball season, I called my Dad and asked him if the Philly's woke him up. He said heck no! The Philly's fell asleep. They had a good chance to make the play off's and they fell asleep. That had me laughing. He lived a lifetime. He helped out in the community in numerous functions. Over all he is the best and always will be remembered as that to me. He accomplished a lot. He kept our family together in good times and bad, because that's what matters. If you don't have the time, you have to make the time he told me. Thank you Dad.

Pappy was a hoot and even though we didn't talk much my favorite story was about how the only plane to ever get shot down was their own mail carrier because they forgot to get landing clearance. My favorite saying from him everyone finally witnessed about his back scratching. There are so many memories those are just a few. I love you Pappy you will always be loved and missed. <3

It's hard to sum up so many memories when he was always there, even if he only whistled to get your attention. I know you will always be with me no matter where you are or I go. I love you Pappy.
