Thank you so much for the kind posts to this guest book. Somehow it feels like it keeps part of her alive...the Mom I knew most of my life, before things got so tough at the end.

Did you Maui friends also know that besides Valentines and tournaments, my Mom used to volunteer to help people learn to read when she was in Maui? She had wanted to volunteer her services as nurse but was told they were in need of help with teaching people to read, so she did that.

Ruth was a great tennis partner and loved the Shuffleboard Tournament yearly in Maui. Have many Underground Newsletter items and photos over the years of our Valentines parties and such. What a loss - our sympathy goes out to all of Ruth's family and friends.
