Our condolences to the family.Ruth was a treasured friend.Enjoyed playing golf and bridge with her. Always overawed how well she continued to play golf even though her sight was bad. She could still hit that "ball."
Enjoyed dinners with Al and Ruth.

Dear Sarah, Bill, Julie and Mary,
My deepest sympathy to each of you. I first met Ruth when I joined Bay View Golf Club in the mid 80's and we became instant friends. My husband and I enjoyed many enjoyable evenings with Ruth and Al, and Ruth and I enjoyed lunches, golf, and visits together. Both Al and Ruth were so very kind and understanding of my husband's illness and were both there for his memorial service in 2008. I loved your mother - a person of great integrity, grace, humor, common sense and strength. It was my good fortune to have known her ,and I send you my warmest thoughts and sympathy. She was so proud of you and loved you unconditionally.
Very truly, Maureen Nicholson
Sarah, Mary, Bill and Julie,
I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. Your Mom was a very special lady and holds a very dear place in my heart. I will miss our visits while she was in Bay View as well as our phone conversations during the winter months. I loved her as though she were my Mom and pray that she has her angel wings in heaven.
To Bill and Mary, I am so sorry for your loss. We are going back a long way here, but I remember Ruth well. I am pleased that she led a full and interesting life.
Aunt Ruth you will be forever loved and missed, you were truly one of a kind! Will miss seeing you this summer in Bay View but it's comforting to know you will soon be up there right next to Uncle Al, watching the most beautiful sunsets in the world!
