Mr.Allen as I always called him, was a teacher of men in the class room are on the street. He had a great influence on me when I had him as a teacher. He had a saying that I tried to live by. Shape boy's, sharp tools, sharp work. Dull boy,s dull tools, dull work. When I think of Mr.Allen that always comes to mind. He will be missed by many. What a Man.

Jane, Betty, Andy, Tom and Christie ... I have so many wonderful memories of Sam during my tenure with Texas Refinery's Coating Division - none more vivid than the last cruise we took together. Sam dressed in pink floppy ears and feet, wearing sunglasses and entering the meeting room as the Eveready Bunny is an image I will never forget. Priceless! It doesn't surprise me that he kept coming out of retirement to have another go at it. I think he knew TRC simply couldn't do without him. I feel so lucky to have known him, and I'm sure everyone who was touched by Sam has been tremendously blessed by the legacy he leaves behind. Truly one of a kind.

Andy and the Allen family, so sorry about your loss. When I close my eyes I see Mr. Allen in the hall of Southside with a huge smile on his face. Having just lost my dad 3 weeks ago, I know what you are going through. They were both great men and we will miss them. Randy and I send you our prayers.
