Samuel "Sam" Robert Scott
Dear Scott Family,
My name is Claire Townsend. You probably do not remember me, but I was Sam's classmate and friend at Condit Elementary, and I am the daughter of Mrs. Townsend, his music teacher. Although I had not talked to Sam since those elementary years, I have always remembered him as a genuine, hilarious, and kind person. My mom remember his part in the school musical as "the man who couldn't lie." :) She and I offer our deepest condolences. Be comforted in knowing that his soul rests in a better place, full of love and laughter.
Dearest Family and Especially Amy,
I hope you find comfort in knowing that complete strangers have you in their thoughts and prayers.
May the day soon come when you are so preoccupied with the blessings of Our Father that you no longer recall the sorrow of today. (Inspired by Ecclesiastes 5:20)
Then the Lord called Samuel...Samuel answered, “Here I am.”(1 Sam 3:4)
Dear Scott Family, I know your pain. "Look up" it is the only way HE can dry your tears." Samuel's smile was surely missed in Heaven. You WILL see him again. I promise.
The Fork Union Military Academy community is lifting up Sam's family and friends in our prayers. May God provide comfort and peace in this time of grief to you all. -Chaplain Benson
