Emily, Lucy and Julie,
Uncle Teency was always fun to be with when we got together for family visits. As I got older I really enjoyed conversations with him because he had such interesting things to say about history and family. I also enjoyed our recent email exchanges regarding some old business matters in Conroe. He was always willing to do what he could to help. Dianne and I send our condolences to you all and pray God's strength and comfort for you.

What a wonderful and gifted man! It is so sad to lose cousin Grant. My heartfelt condolences.
Sanford directed my Master's thesis at Tulane University almost 40 years ago. It is safe to say without his interest and support I never could have managed to write it. He was both a wonderful scholar and a wonderful person.
Lucy and family,
His life was truly a tapestry that will continue to enrich all of you - my your sorrow and grief be lessened by the all the wonderful memories.
Emily, Lucy and Julie - May you find comfort in your memories, family and friends. Our loved ones never leave our hearts, and one day we will be reunited again. Much love to the entire family. - Ron
