Scott Kading Deuel

Scott was my best friend and worked on my crew. Even when I got disabled and had to leave the company, we still talked for hours almost nightly on the phone. I loved his radio day and practice stories and could listen to him all night.

He was the kindest soul and I miss him so very much & feel so very sorry for Jane (who I always tried to keep her up to date with the latest Downton Abbey) and son Jeff.

To this day, I keep waiting late at night expecting the phone to ring and hear his "radio" voice again. Once a week, we'd try to get together and go out for dinner and he'd always adjust my back & taught me how to do my own laser treatments as he was a pioneer in laser pain treatments.

You left us all too soon, my friend & I've been devastated. I only hope you are the one to greet me when it's my time. Nothing but brotherly love and respect forever. Jane - I'm here for you if you ever need anything at all.

Having met Scott first as a remarkable healer / chiropractor, he quickly became a very good friend. Laughter, stories, and film project ideas were shared with every meeting. Numerous and memorable trips were taken up Jarre Canyon, having a burger at The Sprucewood as our stories of radio days and film projects would become bigger and bigger. A grand storyteller, great friend and remarkable craftsman: on air, as carpenter, chiropractor and racing fan and computer geek, I am deeply saddened and pained to hear of this great man's early passing. Jane & Jeff, please know and accept my condolences.

Scott was a GREAT neighbor. We will miss him and all the conversations over the fence. We loved his ready smile and off the wall sense of humor. He was an all-around good man and will be missed in the neighborhood. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Jane. You'll have to man the fence now - we'll be looking for you.

Scott was a true and caring professional when called upon for advice and counsel. He never wavered and treated me with the utmost dignity and respect. Scott will be sorely missed and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Rest in peace…
