Sherman Bernard was a really special man and always bigger than life. I loved to brag about my important, charismatic and successful Uncle to anyone who would listen. I can honestly say, I never met anyone quite like him. When I heard of his passing I remembered how much he meant to me, and how much I looked up to him. RIP Uncle Sherman. He was truly one of a kind. - with much respect and Love,

Sherman was one of the "Greatest Generations" as he was a WWII veteran. He loved music , people and public service. I was honored to know him as a friend and admirer. God Bless his family.
