I remember one fall over ten years ago when Sal and Connie, Ben and Margaret came to visit Victor and Mary. It was such a privilege to be with them all for an afternoon, to see the three brothers together, along with two younger generations of "Burdo boys." I was touched by their thoughtful generosity in bringing gifts for each of our boys. I've also been told that Sal worked on the construction of the World Trade Towers. I often think about him when I hear about them, kind of vicariously proud to have a connection. I value sharing in the Burdo heritage, and am so thankful to have been able to meet Sal. I'm only sorry it was not more often.
To Sal's daughters, sons, and families, we are remembering you in prayer for your comfort at this loss.
