To Sophie's Family: Your mother was a good friend to my mother Eleanor Pratt, who lived across the hall from her at McCarthy Court. She was one of the first to make my mom feel welcome when she moved there in 2007 and continued to visit her when she had to move to Homeplace next door. Sophie will be missed by many. -- Barbara Pratt, New Bern.
