My family met Vertie and Lee Edwards when we moved to California. Everyone so excited when Steve was born. We watched him grown to a young man before moving back to LA. The last time we visited his parents were still living and he was teaching at a middle school. Steve was supportive of his students and enjoyed being a teacher. He missed teaching!
We will remember him as a person with a sense of humor, love of his job and his determination to overcome after his accident. He will be missed.
