As my good friend from Kindergarten, Sunday school, and 1st grade through the rest of his life, I never witnessed any fault or blemish on his sterling, spotless character nor did I see any thing but compassion in his life. Stuart was a rare human being. How blessed to have been his friend. Love to Roland and the family.
I knew Stuart through the appraisal business. He was a highly respected, professional, gentleman. My condolences to the family.

Stuart was a good friend I will miss him
Roland, and family, Stuart was chairman of the Staff/Parish Relations Committee when I first came to Myers Park to talk with him and Tom Stockton regarding my coming to Myers Park UMC as an Associate Minister. I remember it was in January, 1982, and Stuart's friendly sincerity convinced me that I wanted to be a part of the ministry at Myers Park. When we came out of Myers Park Club after having lunch, it had snowed as was quite cold, but Stuart's warmth made everything seem like summertime! My prayers are with you and your family.
