Grandma I may not have been as close to you as your other grandchildren, but you have always been in my heart. Rest in peace. I love you.

It was always the first priority when we drove out to go see grandma. Never once did we forget or become too busy. You always welcomed us with open arms. I remember always wanting to visit you, even when I was young. You always had the most interesting stories to tell. Over the last 9 years that I have lived out of California, I always made it a point to call you once a week. Until the last year when it just hurt so much I would then call once every other Sunday but, you never answered oh how I longed to hear your voice, saying it's my sweet grand baby Shannon. I never wanted you to forget how much I love you and that I would always be there if ever you needed anything. You made the best food and I only hope I am have the cook that you were. You taught all of us so much and I know that you are finally home where you wanted to be with your angels. I will miss your smiling face and your amazing hugs. Love always your Sweet grand baby Shannon
