From All the Brothers at Sigma Chi Fraternity. Ted was quite a multi-talented fellow and always offered a colorful opinion of the world. He is probably best known in the fraternity for giving us some much needed culinary relief from our previous cook who's primary focus was Shepherd's pie, toasted cheese sandwiches and ‘coupon' rice. Ted always took great pleasure in hustling the brothers in a friendly game of billiards. His charcoal lighter-fluid burgers were legendary in the Greek system, the effects of which could be felt for days. Ted was undoubtedly one of the most spirited additions to live in our chapter. He will not be forgotten.

To the Family of Ted Flynn:
Ted was the cook at the Sigma Chi Fraternity for a number of years during my years at WSU (1982-1985), and in fact, one year I served as the kitchen steward with him, which meant I cooked on the weekends when he was off-shift. Ted was a lot of fun, loved to hang out at our college parties, and really liked "cooking for the guys". Years after college (and after I became a lawyer(, I flew into Yakima for a deposition, and happened to be picked up by "Cadillac Ted" in his fancy cab. It was pure chance, and really great to see him after all those years. Great guy...who fully lived. "Terrible Ted" as we called him will be missed by all in his WSU Sigma Chi family.
