Thomas Spencer Knight Jr.
I was saddened to hear of Tom's passing when I returned from New Orleans. I knew when I saw you both on May 2nd that it probably wouldn't be much longer but still it is hard to believe he is gone. He certainly fought long and hard and you were there along with him for every battle. Be comforted that he is now free from pain and at peace. Big hug to you. Call me whenever if you need anything or just to talk. Big hug to you.
Kathie: Tom was such a compassionate, generous, loving human being. His loss affects each and every one of us, as I know it does you, his equally fine wife and family. I can't believe my flight into White Plains was cancelled causing me to to miss the funeral; but you know my prayers and love are with you, today and every single day. You and Tom and your splendid family set such a fine example. How he is missed. Bless you, and may dear Tom and all of you find peace and comfort knowing how much he and you mean to so many. Our thoughts and prayers and always, our love to you, Kathie, dearest friend and courageous soul. I am heartbroken. Deborah

I am so sad to learn of Tom's passing. His death brings back so many great memories of days at GCDS. He truly leaves a wonderful legacy of humanity and care of others. I'm thinking of you and the boys with great saddness.
