I'm thankful I got to know Tom. He was a faithful prayer warrior and a man after Gods own heart.
My heart aches for Tom's family...he was such a wonderful man! I will miss seeing him in the coffee shop asking me if I have the coupon he gave me good for one free hug! Jerry and I loved Tom dearly and he will be missed by so many that loved him.
I never will forget the night I was in the hospital tending to my daughter who was very ill, she had her gallbladder taken out, it was gangrenous and they spilled some of the stuff when they were removing it! It caused my daughter to have E coli and another bacterial blood infection, she was septic! Tom just happen to be on the same floor as my daughter, I ran into him when I went out to get ice for my daughter, Tom was awaiting a patient to return to their room from x-ray...I believe it was a God appointment! Tom asked why I was there and quickly he asked if he could come in and pray for my seriously ill daughter! My daughter quickly recovered and got to go home in a couple of days! I know God answered Tom's prayers! To this day, my daughter was so sick, she doesn't even remember Tom coming in to pray for him, but I will never forget Tom, for he was someone I loved dearly and my husband and I will miss his smiling face! I'm glad he's enjoying heaven and I'm certain he is whole again and spreading joy as he did here on Earth!
