I only knew Mrs. Boyd through the sweet stories Mr. Boyd would tell when he visited us at the library each week. His great love for her was always evident and I know she had to have been a very special woman to inspire such devotion.

As a sister in Beta Sigma Phi, I will miss her, as a Randolph Officers' Wives Club member, I will miss her and I knew her through the Red Cross as well. I ask that the family reflect on all the wonderful things she did and was to our community...

Been many years since we were young officers at AFMPC, but memories of Veda and you and all the good times are still fresh. She was wonderful lady and I know you, Gary and family will miss her. Keep the faith.

Thinking of you all at this time. Veda was a special lady, have known her since my time as a Junior Volunteer at Family Services, Randolph AFB in the early 70's.

To the family: Condolences from the Hill cousins of WVa. (Veda's mom and my mom were sisters.) We cherish fond memories of visiting her and her family when we were growing up. They were kind and gracious relatives and always welcomed us into their home. I can especially remember Veda letting me play in her room. I hope your memories of Veda Mae will bring you comfort and peace.
