Verna was my classmate at Seattle Central. She was a lovely woman as well as a talented photographer and designer. I am so saddened to hear the news of her passing. My condolences to her family.
Unfortunately we just heard the sad, sad news of Verna's passing. Verna was by far the nicest, warmest person we have ever met. She always greeted people with a warm smile and wonderful kindness. She always went out of her way to make sure everyone was good. My heart breaks for David and the children. To think of what it will be like to go through the rest of their life without Verna, is heart breaking. I can only hope they are strong and revel in the memories of their mother. She was one fantastic lady!
We will forever remember Verna's legacy of generosity, warmth, caring, and love. We will miss you friend, but we know you will live on in everyone's memories of you and in your beautiful family. Our hearts go out to David, Jonathan, Katie, Amanda, and extended family.
Verna was a blessing to many of us. She has this warm, friendly, and lighthearted personality that puts people around her at ease. Her loving spirit will be missed at family gatherings. I remember seeing her last November at a family luncheon. She was so positive and so full of life! I will miss Verna for the loving person that she was. May the Lord watch over her family in her earthly absence.
Verna is an incredible lady. I have only had brief opportunities to interact with her, but her intelligence, warmth and compassion are striking. This is a great loss for her community, her family and people who have come to known her. May she rest in peace.
