Peter, Amy, Mark, and Julie,

I was so very, very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She brought light to a world that is sometimes dark. I felt so fortunate that I could occasionally read one of the letters she wrote to my mother. Without fail, those letters reminded me of the importance of living each day to the fullest, of looking forward to new things while at the same time enjoying a good book, a visit from one of you, even what she had eaten for lunch that day. I truly admired the way your mother led her life.

In a letter she wrote to my mother on April 15, she asked if the dogwood was still in the yard of her former home in Covington. It is, it is blooming now, and I never go by there without thinking of her.

My mother's memory is not good, so I will say for her that she was so very fond of your mother and greatly appreciated her friendship. Please know that we loved her, will miss her very much, and will always remember that she made this world a much better place to live.

With much sympathy to you and all the family,

Peter, Amy, Mark, & Julie, Life was"interesting" living across Greenway Dr. from all of you for eight years.
We have always missed that neighborliness up here on Pennsylvanis St.
We have especially missed Ginny since she moved to Richmond and hope life was good to her these last ten years. She was indeed "one of a kind"--in a good way.
Our sympathetic thoughts are with you.

I am so glad you choose this picture of Ginny...this smile is how we will remember her at Brandermill Woods. It has been such a joy to know your mom and grandmother and see that wonderful smile every day. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Maria Mast
