Dear Mary and family, We want to extend our sympathy at this time. We have enjoyed visiting with you folks. Also, Chet and Garrett working with Leonard and the boys on the grain tanks. It has been a special friendship.

Mary and Family,
How fondly I recall Leonard from summers "loading on the go" during harvest and bucking bales for him as well as a young preacher's kid. I still hold all your family in great esteem, and think of Donna Rae often. I have been a pastor almost 28 years, and am serving a United Methodist Church near Alexandria, KY now, I have been with the Kentucky Annual conference of the UMC for 5 years, and was in Indiana for many years. Getting close to retiring, I guess.

Please know that you all are in my prayers during this time especially. May it be a comfort knowing that his place in heaven was assured long ago, and that he is with the Almighty now.

It has been way too long since I heard from any of your family. It was Karin [Larsen] Whipple that notified me this morning after seeing his obituary in the Spokesman.
