i am just finding out about Walter. not sure if you remember me. i am Jan Bowlin, my father Jerry Bowlin use to detect with Walter.
please accept my condolences s. your father was a wonderful man.
What a beautiful legacy Walter leaves behind. Such a rich and fulfilling life. He sold me my first metal detector and I always enjoyed visiting with him and his family. God bless the family as they go on without him. He will be missed greatly, but the Lord will give him more treasures than he could have ever hoped for. God Bless.
It's been a while since I've seen Walter. He sold me my first Metal Detector when I got into treasure hunting. He was friendly and I enjoyed talking with him the times I did see him. Of course it was always about Treasure Hunting. I like to think he's enjoying the treasures of Heaven now and being in the presence of our Lord. I know he's going to be missed by his loving family and friends. God Bless you Keith and the rest of his family as you go through this trying time. Rest in Peace Walter..
The Whitehead family will miss Walter. He has been a steadfast friend through the many years that we all have known him, visited with him, and been his neighbor. Rest now, Walter, in God's love.
I met Walter in Dec. 1960 working part time at Sears. I bought metal detectors from him in 1999. Thru the years I saw him at trade shows. I think he remembered me all those times. He was one of my favorite people. Rest in Peace my Friend.
