My husband worked with Walt at Lever Bros, we thought the world of Walt. Kindest man ever! My husband followed Walt to heaven almost 4 months after. I'm sure everything's running smoothly up there with Walt and Dave there.
Walt hired me at in 1978. He was a patient man and the best boss I have ever worked for. Their were many high stress moments in manufacturing at Lever Bros. bit I can not remember a time that he lost his temper or even gave a hint of being angry. He always stuck up for his mechanics. What a guy. I can still see him with that cigar in the corner his mouth. Thanks for all the good years at Lever Brothers Walt........ Joe Curtis, Midpines Ca..
You have left such an empty void. You are so missed. Love you so much and miss you so much.......My beloved
It's been a couple weeks since my Dad passed away, and although I was truly blessed to have him in my life for so many years, he leaves a big hole in my life. I have so many great memories of my childhood and adult years: vacations in Lake Gregory or Kaweah with friends, BBQ's on the patio with neighbors, ping pong, riding in the back of the truck on the way to volleyball at the park, horseshoes, dancing in the den, board games and card games, watching the Dodgers, Lakers and Rams. He taught us how to grow up, enjoy life, be grateful for our blessings, and cherish our friends and family. We enjoyed Saturday morning coffee at Panera trying to solve the worlds problems, but we also had lots of laughs. He didn't want to leave us, but I know he's thankful for the life he had, and all the people who loved him. Thanks to everybody who have posted the lovely messages and memories, they are a great comfort to us. Much love, Nora
I love you,a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck, I do love you
