Wayman Barker
Services for Wayman W. Barker Jr., 63 will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Dr. Jerry Barker and Dr. Randy Rinehart officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Wayman went to be with the Lord, Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
He was born on August 18, 1946 in Madison County, the son of the late Woodrow and Mary Henson Barker. He was a graduate of Union University and received a Master's Degree from Memphis State University. He was a retired teacher and real estate agent.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy M. Barker of Jackson, TN; two sons, Jason Barker and wife Krystal of Lexington, TN and Jordan Barker of Jackson, TN; two grandsons, Dakota and Lucas Barker both of Lexington, TN.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 14, 2010, 5-8 pm at the South Chapel.
