I'm simply crushed by the news of Bill's death. It's been years since we've seen each other but it's like yesterday attending your wedding, hearing his laugh, and admiring his intelligence. Hard to believe we had a visit planned and then, he slipped away. However, I do believe we'll see him again in eternity. For now, I look forward to seeing you in 2013. May the grace of God and all your friendships help you through this difficult season. He will be so missed.
Know that we enjoyed working with Bill at Goddard Space Flight Center... he was a terrific guy... business minded but always a contributor to our fun in the "Locker Room!" It truly makes us sad to lose such a true friend... know that we miss him terribly!
We are very sorry to hear this sad news. I worked with Bill for a number of years at NCDOT and even had the opportunity to take shag lessons with both of you at Red's years ago now. He was a joy to be around and he loved you so very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Please take care of yourself.
The world won't be the same without Bill Bentley. Our last visit was at the Fiesta Bowl when we were fortunate enough to discover you in the crowd. Loved singing the "ramblin'wreck" with him. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I was saddened to hear of Bill's passing. The friendship shared with the two of you will always be special. One of the many great memories of Bill is when we were at The Masters together. He shared just how special you were to him in a very hearfelt way. He was a good man and will be missed.
