To the Chesak family, my condolences on the loss of William and other members. My father, John Ring, and my uncles, Jim and Edward Fager, were friends of his and played football with him at EPHS and UTEP. In their nostalgic moments, his name would often come up. I hope you are comforted by the face that he was so well loved in the community.

Bill, a true gentleman, always a smile and willing to help, very appreciative, enjoyed life, fun to be around, always had a greeting for everyone, and a great showman.
How can we forget when told that you needed a certain combination of dice “No problem” and roll the dice with a fancy flair and “See, no problem' or “can't win them every time.” “N 44” has a special meaning whenever called in Bingo, or “El Melon” or “La Corona” in Loteria. When the last bingo type game was announced that it would be a “cover all” game. Bill would announce “Coverall, Overall' giving the brand Wrangler a new meaning from his years in Sales. We always tried to have a Snickers available just for you. At the end of our games, we thank the players for playing with us. Bill always responded for the group “Thank you Mary Lou and Joe” making volunteering more meaningful.
Thank you Bill for letting us know you for a short while, you are greatly missed.

Russell, so sorry to hear about Bill's passing, I remember seeing him with Dorothy Jones at the old Billy Crews and over near Sunland park at one of her other old haunts. What a delightful man he was and only friendly and nice to Bob and me. Sorry for your loss, Cousin Russell.
love,

Mr. Chesak.
Sir, as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USMC. The history and accomplishments made by you and your fellow Marines back in the "Old Corps" are what all us Marines who have followed in your footsteps have always tried to live up to. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
