William Martin Eads Jr. 1926 - 2014

William Martin Eads Jr.

July 25, 2014
Bill was an old tennis buddy for many years. One of his favorite lines was to ask, "You want to play this out?" after winning a point. While sitting on the sidelines I pumped him for details about the Razorback football team he played on in the 1940s. He loved his family and kept me posted about his children and grandchildren. Many of us have lost a great friend, and his family has lost someone who can never be replaced. - Taylor Prewitt-- Fort Smith

We are sorry for your loss. Our father, Al Sass thought so much of Mr. Eads. They enjoyed many early morning breakfasts together and can continue that with our Heavenly Father.

A large empty place has been left behind as Mr. Eads was called home to his Lord. As one of his friends from his thrice weekly meeting of the Fort Smith Tennis Club, we all give thanks to the Lord for being allowed share him in our lives and his excellent tennis skills speak for themselves! I will miss Bill dearly. God bless the family in this time of loss. --Pastor Don Brewer

Bill was a very special person I'm going to miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with his children and grand children.

Some of my fondest Fort Smith memories are with the Eads Family on Wolfe Lane. Mikey - remember the human Gerbil trails? Bill - remember when “The Beatles” played Wolfe Lane and stopped traffic! Great times with a great family.

Your dad was appreciated and will be missed!
