Am totally shocked to the core. I have known, loved Bill as a wonderful friend from 2nd or 3rd grade all the way through high school graduation. I was so happy when Maureen & her bro Marc moved here & that was it... Bill & Maureen had true love. It was an amazing honor to be a bridesmaid in their wedding... Will always miss u Bill. We really did have some brilliant school bus rides (yea, oozing laughter, funny, witty, both oozing artistic signs between Bill & Maureen. Hope I get to see Maureen, especially, since am now in FL. This is so hurtful, forgive me, if any word I said may have not been as a high compliment to an amazing, gifted friend. LindaDavisGarza 7/21/2013
I worked with and enjoyed "Bill the Bear" oh so much in my years at JWT. I regret not having seen him for too long, and now he is gone. I'm sad about that, and yet I see his humor lingers on. He was lovable as a teddy bear, hence the nick name I'm sure. I'm sure you all miss him immensely. Fondly, Vinny.
Dear Maureen and children,
Life gives us a handful of friends if that, that we can truly say "friend" and Bill was so much more to me.I looked up to him as a brother and respected him with the highest regard. His kindness and generous heart shined day in, and day out. How I wish I could express in some way my deepest sympathy for you all. I love your husband and father, and can't imagine these past days have been easy. Placing your thoughts in prayer. Knowing the troubles Bill dealt with.I know this man is high in the glory of God, and surely will be watching out for us all. I am here for you all. If I can be of help in any way, please call on me.God's peace be with you Maureen. Stay in touch. ~Marky~ Mark Foote
Bill befriended my son, Mark Foote, years ago and encouraged and inspired him to continue in his pursuit of making each recording better, richer. When Bill and you, Maureen, came to visit him here in Cortland, it was such a wonderful time and cemented their love and friendship forever. I am not sure Bill realized just what a far reach he had because of his love for music and performers but it is truly vast. Bill will be deeply missed by Mark and all those who associated with him on KIK, his on line family. My prayers will continue for you and your family, Maureen. God bless. Irene Foote, Mark's mom
I was very saddened to hear the news about Bill. Bill was a smart and funny guy and I enjoyed working with him while I was at JWT. My sympathies to his family. Keith Woods
