I met Walter when I was a young teenager. My Father, Pryce Lehman, was a Magistrate in Cockeysville and Walter and Dad were Masonic Lodge Brothers.
When I grew up I joined the County Police and Walter was my first field Sgt. He was my mentor, friend, colleague, Masonic Brother , and part of our extended family of Police Brothers. Our family lived close to Walter's and we enjoyed his wife "Sammie", Wm Walter III, and Juanita. Walter retired when he felt he had taught me enough and went on to other pursuits. We have stayed in touch over the years and we know that he was deeply saddened over the loss of his beloved son and wife. Had it not been for the loving care and concern of his pride and joy "Juanita" he would not have lived as long as he did.
Now we know he is reunited with his beloved wife and son. God Bless you our friend...Jesus Christ told us that "My Father's house has many rooms" We would like to have the room next to yours one day.
