Well, sweet Duane, it’s hard to believe it has been 13 years since you left Thank you for all the wonderful adventures and times we had You were there for me and I pray I was there for you for the last five years of your life. Duane was my brother and best friend. It's impossible to explain how much I loved Duane. He was always there for me in anything & everything that happened. His picture sits in my living room next our mother Marjorie's. I would have given my life for him in a mili-second. I hope and pray to see him in Glory with our Lord Jesus Christ. Life has not been the same for me since he passed. Losing a brother who was your best friend, he is just never forgotten. Our mother died on my 12th birthday. That was the worst day of my life. I thank God I had Duane as my brother until he was 67. Now at 74, I still miss him "bigly."

Thinking about Duane on his 77th birthday. Duane´s and my birthdays are 3 days apart. Mine is the 21st of May. I used to trll him that becausr Im 3 days older, heshould remember to show respect for his elders.
We shared many good times in HS and as employees of a 7-11 store in National City after we graduated from HS.
Ill never forget my ole "buckaroo" buddy ad he used to call me.
Duane will always remain in my thoughts as a Best Friend.
Forever a friend,

Although Duane may not remember me, I was a classmate of his from elementary school at Darnall, Horace Mann and Crawford. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing. I would have enjoyed seeing him one more time.
