I was a childhood friend of Celeste in Wyandotte...Monroe Elementary, when we went on to Junior High, she moved away...had a nice get together for our 40th High School graduation...sounds like she had a very fulfilled life, and I know she will be missed! My prayers are with the family!

Celeste and I met in 2nd grade. She was the kindest person I ever met. She never had an unkind word for anyone. She was born 1 day before me so as children we always celebrated our birthdays together with a double party. As we grew older there were many times when we were apart but we never forgot each other. We always signed off as "FF"...Friends forever...May God be with you all at this most difficult time and may it help you to know that Celeste is at peace in heaven with Jesus and some day we will all be together again.

Celeste,
I passed you in the elevator at the Chelsea Professional Building just a few short weeks ago. Noelle and I caught each others eyes and it didn't dawn on me until I left my doctors appointment that it was you wheeling your mom and Mike, maybe carrying her purse, that it was the three of you.

I met Celeste through Gigi, and that same year she invited us to her New Year's Eve party. I met Noelle and Jeanine for the first time, Jeanine was just a baby.

I am glad to hear of the fun and Joy Celeste's family brought her and at the same time sad that she had to leave so soon.

May God bless you all during this time of sorrow and yet a celebration of such a wonderful woman.

I was a friend of Celeste's in our young adult years and have not seen her in decades. I always have and always will remember her warmly, fondly, and with a smile. We had a lot of fun together in crazy years. I am shocked and very much saddened by this news. She is obviously leaving a beloved family behind and I wish you all well on your journey through grief.

Oh my - I am so saddened to hear of Celeste's passing. She was such a wonderful friend from when I lived in Chelsea and she was a very gifted, intelligent, creative and loving human being. Celeste was thinking 'out of the box' before we even knew what that meant! I have so many fond memories of our times together - either exercising together at Gemini, breakfast at Gina's, getting together with the gang before parades on her front yard when she lived in town, working for her at Maya Place, etc. I hurt because I did not keep in contact with her once I moved out of Chelsea. I also hurt because she still had so much living to do and talents to share with the world. May God bless her whole family and yes, Celeste, I will see you on the other side.

Mike, my thoughts are with you and Celeste's family. She was an awesome lady and I feel grateful to have known her for so so so many years. I just found the photo of her and another lady sitting on my lap when I was playing Santa once. I posted it on the Chelsea facebook page today.

Mike, Red, Joe, Connee and all of Celeste's family. Celeste was truly a free spirit. She wrote such beautiful and true words about herself, family and her wonderful life. Those words will be a comfort to you in this time of sadness and in the future. Please accept my deepest sympathy. You all will be in my thoughts.

I remember Celeste the most when she worked at Maya's Place. I loved the store and Celeste was fun to talk to. We exchanged knowledge and stories over the years. I always thought of her as a friend, but when the store closed I never saw her again. My prayers go out to her family. She will be missed.

I always enjoyed Celeste's friend ship. I moved away before she was my family's neighbor, but I met her at work and became friends. She taught me how to grow and care for my nails and I still have beautiful nails because of her. She always had beautiful nails. I will never forget her. My thoughts and prayers go out to her husband and family, especially her mother. The world has lost a beautiful woman.
