Marie Powers Obituary
Age 89, died March 25, 2012 in her home. Survivors include a son, Mike Powers of Manchester, daughters, Debra Ann Petoskey of Chelsea, Wanda Kay Sobran of Ann Arbor, and Jean Watson of Temple, AZ. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 30, 11:00 am at Sharon United Methodist Church, Manchester. The family will receive friends at Cole Funeral Chapel Thursday 4-8 pm.

Jean,Wanda,Debbie&Mike~I last saw your mom at the family reunion,Labor Day,2009. Her mind was sharp & we have pictures from that day, she & Aunt Eloise in the middle of all.Really good family memories from childhood at your farm & Mamaw Ann's. Wish I lived closer to be there with everyone. My love to you and yours.

My husband and I delivered Meals on Wheels to Marie for years. My husband got Alz. and we had to quit. I sure missed seeing her. She was such a good friend to me and we both were from the south and loved to talk. She surely is in a better place now.

I will miss Maries energetic and loving care! She always made sure to tell everyone how much she loved them. I will never forget how she made me smile. She was such a great lady and she will be missed!
