Oren Wireman Obituary
Age 65, died Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at his home. He was born March 22, 1946 in Salyersville, Kentucky, the son of Oron and Lucy Bell (Stevens) Wireman. Oren spent the Summer in Michigan and wintered in Lakeland, FL He served in the US Army and was stationed in Colorado Springs, CO. He was an automotive sales rep for Magna International. Survivors include his mother, Lucy Dickinson of Lakeland, FL; two daughters, Nikki Taylor of Atlanta, GA, Bree Wireman of Pearl City, Hawaii; two sisters, Brenda Sue Larson of Lakeland, FL, Linda Lou Moore of Ionia, MI; one granddaughter, Siena Taylor; his significant other, Karen Haviland of Lakeland, FL; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Oron; and his stepfather, Frederick Dickinson. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 7 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Chelsea. Memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post 31 in Chelsea.

Oren my friend I will miss you greatly. I only knew you a few years but your compassion, sense of humor and friendship was a trait I loved in you. You will be in my thoughts every day. I will always hold dear to me our times together on the golf course and with God's help you will play your best golf on a course he designed especially for you. I love you my friend.

The O, you were one of my best buddies since we met 26 years ago at American Motors. Then you taught me to love the game of golf and many other things about business and life. Donna will always be your second girl! You were truly one of the best ever my friend and my life will never be the same without you.

My deepest sympathy to all of you. Although I hadn't seen Oren since our high school days I'm sure he remained the same kind person with that sweet smile he had back then. I know he is missed by all that had the gift of knowing him. God bless

My mother and my self will miss Oren very much. Every Thursday and Sunday my mother Maxine Simmons and my self have lunch at Stivers Bar and Grill, and that is how we met Oren. As the wait staff and my mother and I enjoyed funny jokes or just have crazy talks we would find him laughing behind his paper and would drag him in our talks. He was a funny handsome man and will be missed so much! God Bless the family and friends that knew him because it really does leave a sad feeling when we walk in and know that he will no longer becoming to share a good laugh with us.

I was so saddened to hear of Oren's passing. My condolences to his family and friends. He lived across the street from my mom (Ellie Reynolds) at North Lake for many years, and was a wonderful neighbor & human being. I will never forget all the 'random acts of kindness' he did for my mom. I hope they are playing golf together now 'up there.'
