Paolo Blundo

AGE: 82 • Toms River

Paolo Blundo, 82, of Toms River, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Sicily, he lived in Milan working as a barber in the Doumo di Milano before moving to North Jersey in 1966, then to the Ocean County area in1987. He worked as a barber since he was 15 years old, owning several barbershops and most recently working with his son at Bruno's Barber Shop in Jackson for the past 13 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Andreana; a son, Bruno of Jackson; a daughter, Maria Earle and her husband Chris of Toms River; and a sister, Cettina Tidona and her husband Pino of Sicily. Also surviving are three granddaughters, Andreana, Andreana, Ayla and four great-grandchildren, Matthew, Justin, Christopher and Tara.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Sunday, April 17 until the funeral service at 3 p.m. at Hope Presbyterian Church, 617 Hope Chapel Road, Lakewood. Carmona-Bolen Home For Funerals, Toms River, is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences can be sent to carmonabolenfh.com.

Oggi abbiamo guardato il video io mamma e nonna. Poi nonna si è messa a piangere ed anch'io ho pianto perchè anche se ho solo 8 anni capisco molte cose, e mi sono sentito tanto triste, ciao zio Paolo.Ti ricorderò sempre con affetto , Fulvio.
