I was one of Mr. Lawrimore's students at Berkmar High School between 2005-2007. I learned so much from him and you could see his passion for teaching. Very few of us have the opportunity to be influenced by quality teachers. He has certainly left a postive influence on a number of us. I still remember his kind words of encouragement.

To: the Lawrimore Family of GA & SC (Marilyn): I attended Middleton HS and was in class with "Barry" May You find comfort in the words of our Lord:
51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? We live lives of service as our Lord did, what a beautiful legacy Barry left. We will see our loved ones again.

I worked with you at Northside Hospital in Social Services/Discharge Planning in 1986. I was very sorry to hear about the passing of your husband. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. You and family are in my prayers that you will find peace through this difficult time.

Carol and Daniel,
Daniel and my son Ryan played baseball together at Lucky Shoals years ago. Barrett and I were assistant coaches together. We then worked together for a short time at Telecorp. I just happened to see his obituary in the AJC. I'm so sorry for your loss. Barrett was a great guy and I always enjoyed being around him. I was deeply touched on what he had done after leaving Telecorp and elected to be a teacher where I'm sure he made a big difference in a lot of young people's lives. Again my condolences go out to you.

Carol, seeing Barry's picture in the paper this morning brought back many fond memories from our years living in Smoketree subdivision in Tucker--hanging out at the pool, swim team, and carpools to Killian Hill Christian School. We are praying especially for you and Daniel during this difficult time.

Barry was a special man full of humor, grace & style. We will miss him. It’s hard to know what to say, except that Carol, Big "D", Nikki & family are thought of in friendship & in sympathy. And remember "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can steal."

Dear Carol,
Our hearts were saddened this morning to learn that Barry is no longer with us. He was a very special person. Barry was always pleasant and kind to everyone he met. It seems like only yesterday that we were all together at Audichron.
Please let us know how we can support you in any way.

Mrs. Lawrimore,
My heartfelt sympathy to you, Carol & son, Karen, Edmond & rest of the family upon the loss of Barry. I am in disbelief--so shocked. May God comfort your hearts with peace and may you find rest in knowing that He takes none but His own. The flower was in bloom and God picked it. May the memories of Barry lift your hearts and spirit during these difficult days.

There is a tender spot in my heart that only thoughts and memories of my cousin Barry can reach. His presence at our Lawrimore family get-togethers was so enjoyable because he had such a unique way of making each of us feel special. I am proud of Barry's walk with our Lord and of all of his accomplishments.
Carol and Daniel, my love and prayers are with you and I look forward to seeing Barry again when we are all back at home with Jesus!
