You would not know me. I was a fifth grade student at Skaneateles. Many of my friends had Mr. LaDue, I had Jane Major, as my teacher, and my cousin Gladys Hahn was the other fifth grade teacher. I remember him well. I am very sorry for your loss. Jowever I did want to let you know he is remembered after years (1955).

Peg:
Please accept my sympathies at your loss. I'll remember Dean as the buoyant science teacher with rolled-up short sleeves, who would readily provide you with an opinion. I sure he will be missed by those who knew him.

Mr. LaDue was my fifth grade teacher at Skaneateles school, back about 1955. I have always remembered how very patient he was with the students in his class, usually wore a nice smile, and I believe he was a very kind man. I was sorry to read of his death and hope his retirement years were happy ones.

A few years ago I met Mr. LaDue for the first time since the late sixties. He needed some work done on a lawnmower engine. I could not believe he remembered me. My favorite teacher at Central High School.
Please accept my deepest sympathies.

To a beloved Uncle who will always have a special place in our hearts. Who will be greatly missed, and never forgotten. We will never forget that everything was "gooder" at dinner time. May you rest in peace. We love you dearly.

Dean Ladue was a great man. He was like a grandfather to me. Dean would never let you be gloomy around him. He would always put a smile on my face. I have known him ever since I was born. I always used to go to his house and ride the go cart. I will never forget how thoughtful and caring Dean was. He never let a cloud turn gray when the day was bright. As the days go by I wonder if someday when I die I will see Dean up in heaven and it will feel like the old times again. May Dean rest in peace and live a happy life in heaven. May god take him under his wing and take as much care of Dean as he has for me.

Dean & Peg are two of our very favorite people in the world. We were just neighbors but they always made us feel like we were part of their family. Dean was so fun! He used to make Teletubby sandwiches and he taught us how to count - one, two, three, "fower", five, six, "seaven". My parents loved him too. He will never be forgotten.

Peg,
Although we have only known each other for 2 years, we have come to love you both. Dean was a special man. Julia will miss his "craziness". We will miss his wonderful personality. We are here for you.
