Daniel Casillas Obituary
It is with sadness the family shares the passing of their beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather on August 12, 2011 in Mesa, Az. Daniel was born June 24, 1941 in Superior, AZ. He was very proud to have served his country in the Army 82nd Airborne Division. He was retired from Motorola after many years. He was a member of the Queen of Peace Catholic Church. His family knows that his suffering has ended and he is now in the arms of the Lord. His Savior has told him "Well done, my good and faithful servant." Daniel is survived by his beloved wife Lydia; children Frank, Darlene, Lisa, Johnny and Robert; sister Irene; brothers
Vicente and Michael and many nieces, nephews and friends. He is the proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren. He felt very blessed about his 4 great-grandchildren. The funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 17 at 9:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi in Superior, AZ.

Lydia, Vince, Michael, and Irene, we were very sorry to learn of Danny's passing. Although many years have gone by since we have last seen each other, we still sit around and talk about good old Superior and the many life long friends we made growing up. To the Casillas and cousins Barreras Family. Lillie my classmate it was good to talk to you on the phone. We had been praying for a healing for him, but our Lord must of had a better plan for him and it is God's will that counts. Our Lord will give you strength, courage, peace through grieving and will give you grace and mercy every day. Danny is in a better place where there is no more hurting for him only joy & laughter with our Lord Jesus.
