From time to time, my feable mind brings up long lost memories of years gone by, and today was such a day. Not sure why Tom came up in my thoughts, but so glad the thought did. Tom and I met while we were both stationed at Clark Air Base, Philippines in 1974. We met during a SCUBA Diving Class and became the best of friends. Each being each other's Best Man at each other's wedding. Overall we have over 100 dives together in the waters of the Philippines. We watch as our families started to grow and we would go on great trips together. We eventually lost contact with each other due to PCS moves, but with the advent of the PC we once again made contact. We eventually started making trips to each other's homes. It was a tragic loss when we heard of his passing. His family is always in our thoughts as he is. Rest in Peace my old friend.

Gloria, It has been so hard to say the right things. Earl and I love you both so much, that we are finding it hard to except Tom's passing. We think about you everyday and want to be there with you ever moment. Tom was cheated and we don't understand why, but one day we will know. We have to be strong for you, Gloria. Our prayers are there for you. Please don't give up, your life once again will be joyous. Tom was a Saint and he must have belonged directly to our Lord. He thought it was time to take him back because He had more things for him to do. Tom was too perfect of a humane being, there had to be more then we knew. Larry and I feel fortunate to have known Tom even though it was for a short time and to have been included in some family gatherings at Tom and Gloria's and also at my daughters, Lisa and Shawn's home. Shawn and Lisa always spoke so highly of Tom. You all did a great job as the service. It was a beautiful tribute to the man and his wife. Proud of you Shawn! I have been praying for all of you esp. Gloria. My heart still aches for all of you. God will bless you in some way through all of this.

well the services went great.You would be so proud of us how we put it together for you. Terri was amazing and put everything together so well .no one else could have done it better. Don is helping in so many ways that we,ve lost count. He is such ablessing to us. You would be so proud of Stacy and the way she put everything together. I wish your shoes weren't so hard to fill but i promise i'll do my best. Kevin could not attend the funeral services because he was out of town, but Nancy was there and very moved by all the wonderful things that the family shared with us. Tom & I graduated from Cortez High School some 40 years ago. Please know that you are not alone. Your friends and family are here to offer you love and emotional support and God will give you strength during this difficult time.
I just loved looking at the pictures on display at the viewing today of Tom kissing a sweet little green bird and the two pictures of him holding your little dog. Tom was such a tender, gentle, soul.
The news of Tom's passing saddened me greatly and gave me cause to reflect back on how precious people are and life is.
May the wonderful memories you and Tom shared together bring you great comfort.

Gloria, Jeff and I first met you and your beautiful husband at Mark's birthday party at your house. Tom and I built the best boat and won all the prizes!! Christmas brought us back together at Deb and Mark's house and too much food!!! I got reacquainted with Tom at our 40 yr. reunion. We shared our airline careers in common.
My memory of him and Gloria on their Harley in the Geezers on parade is one that I will remember a long time. They both had such big smiles on their faces and I was struck by their obvious closeness.
