Funeral services will be held at Baltimore Hebrew Congregation 7401 Park Heights Avenue (21208), on Monday, September 27, at 11 AM. Interment Oheb Shalom Memorial Park - Berrymans Lane. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to Gilman School, 5407 Roland Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21210. Dear Frank and Ann,
I could not believe I was reading the article about the passing of your son that morning in the paper. There had to be another Brent they were referring to. Unfortunately, that was not the case. My first thought was of the time I saw him on the field with that look in his eye. He was so determined to take it to the goal. My next thought was of you two. I can’t express enough my sincerest sympathy and condolences to you both. May you both thank the Lord you have had him in your lives for as long as you had, even though it ended too abruptly. I had only seen him a few times, yet I am saddened for not having the opportunity to know him more.

Dear Ann and Frank, Dick and I ache to think of your family's sorrow at the loss of Brent, and we remember what fun it was to have him and all of you at our Easter Egg Hunt when all of our children were younger. Equally, Ellie always spoke with enormous pride about him and about Amanda. You are in our hearts, our thoughts and our prayers. We will look forward to hearing when the funeral will take place. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
Our son Dan, will deeply miss his friendship with Brent. I know that Dan's time at Wake Forest with Brent and their ongoing friendship was a major part of his life. Brent added a special zest to those he came in contact with. While our hearts are heavy, we are glad that Dan was able to enjoy the short time that he was able to know Brent and to be his friend. He will deeply miss him.

Brent will always be remembered in the Gilman Lower School as the 'redhead with a twinkle in his eye'. He looked as if he was just about to do something boyishly mischievous. He was friendly,funny, generous, and always ready for a new adventure. He loved Gilman. I remember his first grade self portrait.
