Al I cannot believe you are gone. It doesn't feel real, but I wanted to say thank you for everything you have done for my children by teaching them and just for being a friend to them. Anthony really liked you and he respected your talks to him even when he was going to the Middle School, he needed to hear your advise and you know I didn't get to tell you he is doing better. Can you please look after him from Heaven? Also, thank you for being my friend and I will miss this year not seeing you when I come to Lenox. And you won't be able to see my last child Gianna graduate in person, but in spirit you will. I hope I will end up being almost a great teacher like you. I will miss you so much. With all my love. God bless you and keep you old friend. Joe Rizzo

I shared the same bus stop with Albert and Dave growing up. To this day, I can vividly see in my mind's eye Albert's smiling face, and that is over 30+ years ago! For that image to be so clear to me now, I believe, speaks to what an impression Albert's presence made. His smile was genuine and showed such a spirit. In seeing recent pictures of him, it is obvious that presence and spirit was still with him.

May the little things that you remember, like Albert's smile, help you through this very difficult time. With my deepest sympathy.
