Our deepest condolences to the Downing and Wollpert families. We were next-door neighbors of the Wollperts, our kids played and went to school together. We cannot express the sorrow we feel for such a tragic loss of a young woman. Barbara will always remain in your hearts.

Thoughts and prayers to Scott and family in the loss of such a wonderful person. There will definitely be a void in the Douglas Dutchers community. Peace be with all of you.
I can't imagine going to our little "lunch club" without Barb's smiling face sitting at the table. She was the most uplifting, funny, happy person I have ever known and I will miss her so much. I'm thankful for my time with her on this earth and feel so blessed to have had such a wonderful friend. Scott, Hannah, and Grace, how lucky she was to have you all caring for her and loving her in her life. You were the center of her world and she will be smiling down on you forever. You have my deepest sympathy and I send you tons of love as you grieve. You will be in my prayers for the journey ahead. May Barb rest in eternal peace.

Barb was my confidant, my friend, the person who I could always count on. We shared so much and laughed so hard... We had a great friendship..the kind that doesn't come along often. I will miss her so much... Scott, Hannah and Grace were blessed with her.

Barb is with those who went before her - sitted at the right side of the Father. Shining & smiling down upon us, watching & guiding. Her presence will be with us always.
God promises us that there will come a victory over death. My sincere sympathy.
God bless you all during this difficult time and may your hearts and souls be filled with faith.
May The Lord bless you and keep your family in His loving grace as He has welcomed Barb into His arms now that she is home. I pray for blessings upon Scott and his kids and that in this tough time they rely more than ever on God's goodness.

I am so saddened and shocked by this news. When I think of Barb, I think of her smiling face, always there to lend a hand, and always in good humor and cheer. She is a spirit and presence that will be sorely missed by all who knew her, and my heart goes out to Scott and the kids. May her memory always make you smile and laugh like she did.
Words escape me as I think of Barbara and all she gave to everyone. Her smile lightened any area she was in, and her always giving spirit was an example to all. I will miss her greatly, as well as the laughter which we shared - she helped me a lot on many occasions. My deepest thoughts and prayers to her entire Family.
When our husbands were in law school and I was a newcomer to Chicago, Barb was a constant smiling face, welcoming me and full of fun. Will miss her.
