I just learned of Murray's death. I am so saddened. I always considered him a dear friend and have such wonderful, fun memories of him. May you rest in peace my friend.
RIP old Friend .. Many great times in Ocean Drive and King's College .. Will miss seeing my buddy at Sonny's Reunion ..
Those days working as your assistant at VBS were the best. The nights weren't bad either. Your always put your guards ahead of yourself watching over them like a mother hen and that's why they all loved you. RIP my friend
Murrey was always a great friend and "cousin". He will be missed. If you knew him tou loved him. Rest in peace my friend. Enjoy dancing in heaven.
I have many fond memories of Murray. I lived next door to his grandparents on Moore Street in Rock Hill, and we were playmates throughout our childhood. I lost touch with him after I left the National Guard. I'm sorry to hear of his passing.
Great memories from times past. All the good ones are leaving us way too soon.
Rest in peace Murray you will be missed my friend, We had some fun times,at Football games and good times at the beach. Rest in Peace.Keith,Alan, Lana and Ashton, and the grands, you all are in our prayers. God be with you all. loved Murray.
I always had so much fun hanging out with Murray & Beverly back in the day.
Sorry that I lost touch but have great memories from The Barn & the SCNG.
Sad to hear the news.
I have known Murray since I was 4 years old. He has always held a special place in my heart and my memories. He was a great dancer, a gentle soul, a KAPPA and a great friend. The beach will never be the same without him.

Murray was a beloved Ocean Drive Legend and friend who will be missed by all!!!
Murray was one of the last people left here on the beach that set the lifestyle so many of us yearn for. He was one of the sweetest men I've had the pleasure of knowing. His presence will be missed by many. A very special man with deep roots here in OD. I am honored that he called me a friend. A gentle and kind man. Murray was a Living Legend in OD...and never asked for recognition. My condolences to the family.
Ashton & Lana & the family of Murray...your Dad gave me the best summer of my life when he hired me many years ago to work for the beach service. I loved to listen to his stories he would tell as we would wind down after a day on the beach. He treated us like his own...kicked my butt when it was needed and lent a shoulder when I needed to vent and right there with us as we enjoyed the fun of living at beach. I was at SOS about 15 years ago and heard someone calling my name and was so surprised it was Murray. After 20 years he still remembered me. He was a good guy and a good friend to many. His smile & signature mustache will be missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.
I hadn't seen Murray in many many years but remember him well from the beach service days. My prayers are with his family and friends.
I knew Murray from our years in Rock Hill when I began Winthrop. He was a great guy and he will be missed. Prayers and thoughts to all of his family. May God comfort you all during this difficult time.
