I am so sad. Ranger Ron, my buddy from the beginning of our time in the Army in 1958. My roommate at Fort Benning. Ga. We were like brothers then. Our paths would cross several times over the years including times we would serve at the same base. Ann and I attended his and Gail's wedding in Mainz, Germany. There are so many memories. He worked to be the best, he severed with honor, suffered long, now at rest, no more pain. Rest easy my friend. Sam
My condolences to your family. I went to school with Ron at St. Simon in Ludington where he excelled academically and in sports.

With deepest sympathy and regret for the loss of a team-mate and the years of friendship Ron gave us all.
Mariana and I will keep you and the rest in our thoughts and prayers. You and Col. Jebavy were and remain a bright shining inspiration to all of us. Part of Ron's legacy will be his love of family, service to others and his incredible sharp wit! Truly a great man!
