Mr. Braendle taught the College Eng. 102 class that I took as a young wife at BC Jr. College.
He was such a strong encouragement to my writing of short stories, etc., that I have never forgotten him.
My prayers for his family to feel God's Peace & Presence in the passing of this wonderful teacher & friend of the "beginning writer."
Dear Betty, Sandy, and Mike: Our prayers are with you during this difficult time. We are blessed to have known Dave. We are not in town and are unable to be with you to celebrate Dave's life, however, you will be in our thoughts and prayers.
My sympathy to the family of the man who sparked my interest in journalism as a reporter/photographer for the "Centralia" at Bay City Central during my senior year 1965-66.
Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
I have fond memories of working with Dave during his last three years with the Bay City Public Schools. He was so helpful and kind to me as I was starting my career.
Enjoyed being a student of David Braendle in 1966 and 1967 as one of his journalism students. He was the most influential and favorite teacher of my life. His enthusiasm and passion for journalism and teaching could be matched by none. The world has suffered a great loss in his passing.
We are saddened to hear of David's passing. I worked with 'Mr. Braendle' many years ago at the Bay City Public School's Administration Building. He was a very kind man and a pleasure to work with. Our prayers and sympathy to his family at this difficult time..
